W.AG gives an insight into its innovative foam material processing in the FachPack 2015

As a premium manufacturer of case and case solutions of plastics, W.AG Funktion + Design GmbH does not leave any question unanswered for the design of the customised inlays. In addition to the classic thermo-formed inserts, the company has provided amongst all PU flexible foam and PE rigid foam as per almost all the customer requirement.

Thanks to the modern water jet technology, milling technology and the latest laser engraving technology, W.AG can itself fulfil the highest requirements of design, fitting accuracy, usability and security in this area. Whether it is sensitive measuring equipment, highly sensitive electronic components or expensive tools – the customer always gets a perfect accuracy and geometry for the interior design for the product that is promised for his case.

To ensure this W.AG prefixes an elaborate, customer-specific consultation as well as a quick sampling for each inlay production. All the relevant factors are incorporated in the design of the foam inserts: from the protective function and the optimal interior utilisation through the comfortable assembly of the inserted products till the aspects of the colouring and the professional presentations of the wares.

The case manufacturer W.AG displays a range of current examples for the realised foam inserts from its production in this year’s FachPack in Nuremberg, on the stall no. 432 in hall 5. The customer also learns that W.AG likes to fulfil even fancy customer requirements through clever material combinations and even uses foam material with flame-retarding characteristics, if required. Apart from that the company offers an option to incorporate the filigree fonts, company logos and other fine structures in the foam material-surface with help of laser engraving technology. In this way W.AG imparts an individual and multifunctional character to each foam insert.
