W.AG Funktion + Design GmbH welcomes two news apprentices
On 1st August 2016 the two youngsters Melanie Hartmann and Erik Krieger started their job training at W.AG. The new W.AGs and supposed future case experts were curious about their first day as apprentices of the commercial profession „industrial clerk“. After a short kick-off meeting by the CEO Konrad Goldbach, Melanie and Erik were equipped with all necessary information and useful gadgets/daily helpers (folding rule, notepads etc.). After the utensils were stowed safely in the SWING protect all departments of W.AG were shown to the apprentices during a company tour.
Shortly after the serious side of a case life already began: The production training.
During the production training which represents an usual procedure at W.AG the new apprentices get to know all important departments, in-house expertise and case series. By doing that they become real W.AGs. The departments are tool construction, tool making, sample construction, foam processing, injection moulding, quality management, warehouse as well as screen printing.
After four successful weeks in the production, Melanie and Erik went to their first departments in the administration: sales and order processing. The W.AG team is already sure about both apprentices: the W.AG family gained a powerful duo that can move whole case-mountains.
